Planting for Spring

Join garden designer and permaculture expert, April Palmer, on Saturday, October 22 from 9 to 10 AM to get your garden ready for springtime.

Fall is the perfect time to not only plan but also plant for Spring. It’s the time to put bulbs for such local favorites as narcissus and daffodils in the ground. Conversely, it’s the time to take up dahlias and other rhizomes to store for Spring planting. This class will cover soil prep and planting techniques. We will also share several harvested native plant seeds with guidelines for sowing them.

The cost for the class is $10 per person and $20/family. You can pay at the garden. All proceeds go to our educators and garden upkeep.

Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect. Class is limited to 15 people. See you at the garden!
