Summer Pruning
Learn the importance of summer pruning from our teaching staff. Is summer a good time to prune trees?
It can be. Summer pruning has many benefits. Because your tree doesn’t have a reserve of energy, it won’t grow vigorously as a result of the summer pruning. This helps reduce the size of a larger tree. cherry trees and apple trees are good trees to prune in summer.
Prune again for the 5 D’s; Dead, Dying, Damaged, Diseased and Deformed.
